H.M.S. Staunch was one of twenty destroyers of the Acorn class.
Service
Staunch was completed in March 1911 and sent to join the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla, a Patrol Flotilla based at Portland.
By mid-1913, she was operating with the Second Destroyer Flotilla.[7] In November, 1915, she transferred to the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.
Staunch was sunk off Gaza along with the monitor M.15 to torpedoes from UC 38.
