Admiral George Goldsmith, C.B. (c. 1806 – 2 July, 1888) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Entered the navy in 1821.
Goldsmith was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 8 August, 1828.
Goldsmith was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 May, 1841.
Goldsmith was promoted to the rank of Captain on 16 September, 1842.
Goldsmith was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1862.
Goldsmith was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1867.
Goldsmith was promoted to the rank of Admiral in 1875.
He died at age 88 at 35 Victoria-road, Old Charlton.
