Admiral Robert Gordon Douglas, Royal Navy, Retired (7 June, 1829 – 12 January, 1910) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Douglas's father was Commander John Douglas ADM 196/2 and his brother was Captain George Amelius Douglas. Another brother, Henry, was a Major General. His eldest son was Lt. Cdr. Sydenham Gordon Douglas.

Life & Career

Douglas was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 15 December, 1888, vice Lyons.[1]

Douglas was promoted to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 9 December, 1894.[2]
