Vice-Admiral SIR Edward Fitzhardinge Heaton-Ellis, K.B.E., C.B., M.V.O., Royal Navy, Retired (19 November, 1868 – 23 February, 1943) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

On 30 June, 1908, Heaton-Ellis was promoted to the rank of Captain.[1]

Heaton-Ellis succeeded Captain Maurice FitzMaurice as Assistant Director of the Intelligence Division of the War Staff on 14 February, 1914.[2]

Great War

Post-War

Heaton-Ellis was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 4 October, 1919, vice Silver.[3]
