Schneewittchen, originally named A, was a torpedo boat completed for the Imperial German Navy in 1889.
Construction
Her engines were taken from the salvaged V 3.[7]
Service
A was commissioned on 10 October, 1889 for service as a torpedo training boat. Disarmed in 1892, A was renamed Schneewittchen on 30 January, 1899 and became a station yacht in the Baltic. Subsequently she was employed as a guard ship at Kiel. Schneewittchen was stricken on 21 September 1920 and broken up the next year at Kiel after being sold for 80,000 GM.[8]
