H was a torpedo boat completed for the Imperial German Navy in 1886.
Construction
H was designed by the Kaiserliche Werft Wilhelmshaven, while her machinery was ordered from Schichau. She was compound-hulled, with mahogany diagonal carvel construction over steel hull frames. Her deck was also steel and she had copper sheathing.[8]
Service
H commissioned on 12 November, 1886 for work in an experimental division. Unfortunately, owing to the poor quality materials used in her construction she saw very little active service before being stricken on 12 November, 1894. She was later used as a target vessel and probably expended in that role.[9]
