Reginald Charles Prothero

Vice-Admiral Reginald Charles Prothero, C.B., M.V.O., Royal Navy, Retired (15 June, 1849 – 26 May, 1927) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
On 7 January, 1890, Prothero was appointed to the Edinburgh.[1]
Captain
Prothero was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1895.[2] He was appointed to H.M.S. Doris on 27 April, 1898.[3]
Prothero was placed on the Retired List on 15 June, 1904.[4] On 20 February, 1906, he was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on the Retired List,[5] and to Vice-Admiral on 22 July, 1910.[6]
