Humphrey Wykeham Bowring

Admiral Humphrey Wykeham Bowring, C.B., D.S.O. Royal Navy (18 April, 1874 – 21 February, 1952) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

On 2 June, 1926, Bowring succeeded Vice-Admiral Sir Walter H. Cowan as Commanding Officer, Coast of Scotland, hoisting his flag in the drifter Columbine.[1]

Bowring died at Lowood, Hasketon, Woodbridge on 21 February, 1952. His funeral service took place at Hasketon Church on 25 February at 3 p.m.
