Watkin's Electric Range Indicator was an electrical shipboard transmitter/receiver pair evaluated by the Royal Navy around 1894. Upon its first mention, it was described as working well.[1]
Design and Evaluation
Although Watkin's equipment is briefly described in encouraging terms in 1894, the successive editions of the Annual Report of the Torpedo School fail to mention them again.
