The Torpedo Division was a division of the Naval Staff of the Royal Navy. It was established in 1920 when the Gunnery and Torpedo Division was split into the Torpedo Division and the Gunnery Division.
Institution
In 1920 the Gunnery and Torpedo Division was split and the staff responsibility for Torpedoes was given to the newly created Director of the Torpedo Division, Naval Staff.
