Hamilton Colclough Allen ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Allen was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1904.[1]

Allen was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1916.[2]

Allen was appointed in command of the destroyer Tancred on 12 March, 1919.[3]

Allen was appointed in command of the destroyer Wolsey on 11 January, 1921.[4]

He was appointed in command of the light cruiser Curlew in June, 1927.

He was appointed in command of the battleship Iron Duke in October, 1933.
