Frederick Samuel Inglefield

Admiral SIR Frederick Samuel Inglefield, K.C.B., Royal Navy (29 April, 1854 – 8 August, 1921) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Promoted to Admiral on 4 June, 1913.

He was placed on the Retired List on 9 June, 1916.[1]

Inglefield died of septic poisoning, allegedly caused after an accident while rowing, at Flower Lillies, Windley, Derbyshire on 8 August, 1921. He was 67 years old.
