Rear-Admiral Arthur Lionel Ochoncar Forbes-Sempill (1877–1962) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Semphill attended the Royal Navy War College from 3 March - 20 June, 1913, placing first of ten commanders.
He was executive officer of the battleship Valiant at the Battle of Jutland.
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1916.
He was appointed command of the scout cruiser Blonde in February 1917.[1]
He was appointed command of the light cruiser Cordelia on 1 June, 1917,[2] and was in her at the surrender of the German fleet.
He was appointed command of the battleship Colossus on 15 May, 1919.[3]
