Cyril Asser

Captain Cyril Asser, Royal Navy (13 December, 1874 – 8 March, 1945) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Asser was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1907.[1]
He attended the Royal Navy War College as a Lieutenant from November 1905, but did not complete the course.
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1914.
He was appointed in command of the light cruiser Yarmouth on 1 July, 1918.[2]
Asser died at Beech, Alton, Hants., on 8 March, 1945.[3]
