Jump to navigationJump to searchCommander R.N.R. (retired) Leonard Ernest Fordham, R.D. (2 March, 1896 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy and the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Born in Hendon, Middlesex, Fordham entered Royal Naval College, Osborne with the January 1909 term. At some point, he wound up in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Fordham was appointed to the destroyer Vixen on 28 August, 1918, possibly in command from some point.[1]
Fordham was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 March, 1919.[2]
Fordham was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 March, 1927.[3]
