Jump to navigationJump to searchLieutenant-Commander (retired) Giles Robert Pretor-Pinney, (1 September, 1897 – 2 March, 1942) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Pretor-Pinney was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1918.
Placed on the Retired List at his own request on 22 April, 1920, Pretor-Pinney was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1926.
World War II
Died in command of the destroyer Stronghold when she was sunk.
