John Lionel Fletcher

Commander (retired) John Lionel Fletcher, (16 April, 1898 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of F. E. Fletcher, Esq., an organist, was a Special Entry to the Training Establishment on 15 September, 1916.

Fletcher was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1920.[1]

Fletcher was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1928.[2]

World War II

Fletcher was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 16 April, 1943.[3]

He reverted to the Retired List on 29 April, 1948.
