Service

Commissioned at Chatham on 14 February, 1890.[6]

Warspite arrived at Devonport from Sheerness on 20 April, 1899 under the command of Captain Thomas Philip Walker and flying the flag of Rear-Admiral Beaumont. She left for the Pacific Station in the evening of the 20th.[7]
