H.M.S. Bridgewater was one of two Bridgewater Class sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Bridgewater was commissioned at Newcastle-on-Tyne on 13 March, 1929 for service on the China Station that would extend until at least mid-1934.[5]
