Oliver Backhouse

Admiral SIR Oliver Backhouse, C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (5 June, 1875 – 25 March, 1943) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Backhouse was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 9 October, 1929, vice Watson, promoted to the rank of Admiral. He was placed on the Retired List on 10 October.[1]
