Malcolm Lennon Goldsmith ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Goldsmith was appointed in command of the destroyer Vixen on 15 June, 1912.[1]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Laertes on 16 October, 1913.[2]
Goldsmith commanded the destroyer Lydiard at the Battle of Jutland.[3]
On 21 August, 1918, Goldsmith was appointed in command of the flotilla leader Montrose.[4]
He was appointed in command of the flotilla leader Abdiel on 8 August, 1920.[5]
Goldsmith was appointed in command of the light cruiser Conquest in March, 1921,[6] and of the light cruiser Cambrian in August, 1922.[7]
