Commander R.N.R. (retired) Samuel Wills Ryder, (1865 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve. His date of birth was not recorded
Life & Career
Ryder was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 July, 1890.[1]
Ryder was placed on the Retired List on 11 January, 1905.[2]
Mentioned in despatches on 22 January, 1919, Ryder was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. in recognition of his wartime service, dated 11 November, 1918.[3]
