The facility was re-activated in World War II.
- Lieutenant-Commander John L. Younghusband, 29 April, 1944[3] – 5 September, 1944[4]
- Captain (retired) Malcolm Murray, c. September, 1944 – 18 February, 1946 (and in command of Bee, vice Younghusband)
