THE HONOURABLE Commander Anthony Pleydell-Bouverie, D.S.C., R.N. (26 March, 1905 – 25 June, 1961) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Pleydell-Bouverie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1927.[1]
Pleydell-Bouverie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1935.[2]
World War II
Pleydell-Bouverie was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1940.[3]
Retired 20 May, 1948.[4]
