The Royal Navy's Annual Manoeuvres of 1897 were conducted in the summer of 1897, following a Jubilee Naval Review on 26 June.

Order of Battle
The ships in the Review, and their captains were listed in incredibly complete detail along with a chart showing the anchoring plan for the Review in The Times on 25 June.[5]
Foreign Warships at the Review
Fourteen foreign warships were placed in line "A" at anchor to share in the occasion.[6]
- Austria Hungary: the coast defence battleship Wien with Vice-Admiral Hermann Baron von Spaun
- Denmark: the Template:DK-Helgoland with Rear-Admiral H. H. Koch
- France: the Template:FR-AmiralPothuau with Rear-Admiral the Marquis de Courthille
- Germany: the armored frigate König Wilhelm with Rear-Admiral H.R.H. Prince Henry of Prussia
- Italy: the Template:IT-Lepanto with Vice-Admiral Enrico Morin
- Japan: the Template:JP-Fuji
- Holland: the Template:NL-Evertsen with Rear-Admiral F. K. Engelbrecht
- Norway: the Template:NO-Frithjof with Rear-Admiral von Krogh
- Portugal: the Template:PT-VascoDaGama with Captain Barreto de Casconcellos
- Russia: the Template:RU-Rossia with Rear-Admiral Nicholas Skrydloff
- Spain: the Template:ES-Vizcaya with Rear-Admiral Don Segismundo Bermejo y Merelo
- Sweden: the Template:SE-Gota with Rear-Admiral Klintberg
- The United States: the armoured cruiser Brooklyn with Rear-Admiral Joseph Nelson Miller
