Rear-Admiral Cyril Gordon Sedgwick, C.B., R.N. (27 November, 1885 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Sedgwick was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 July, 1906.

Sedgwick was appointed as gunnery officer in Magnificent in July, 1914 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 July, 1914.

In April, 1916, he was appointed to Courageous as gunnery officer. Sedgwick was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1918.

Sedgwick's role as gunnery officer in Courageous ended on 25 March 1919. On 8 April, he was appointed to Revenge as gunnery officer and as squadron gunnery officer.

Sedgwick was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1925.

Sedgwick was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 19 July, 1936 and was placed on the Retired List the next day in accordance with Orders in Council of 9 March, 1914.
