Rear-Admiral Horatio Nelson Dudding, R.N., Retired (6 August, 1849 – 9 September, 1917) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born at St. Albans.

Dudding was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 3 September, 1872.

Dudding was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1886.

Dudding was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1893.

Dudding was placed ont he Retired List at his own request in accordance with provisions of Order in Council of 22 February, 1870 on 7 August, 1902.

Dudding was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 8 June, 1905.
