Otto Breuer (30 May, 1873 – ?) was an officer in the Imperial German Navy.
He is not the same man as Otto Brauer, who also commanded German capital ships in this period.
Life & Career
A member of the crew of 1891, he served as the commander of S.M.S. "Pelikan" at the outbreak of the war and served in various positions related to mine warfare.[1] When Kapitän zur See Karl-Wilhelm Weniger was shot after the 5 November 1918 revolution,[2] Breuer was appointed command of the battleship König on 6 November 1918, remaining in that position until 5 December, 1918.[3]
