Admiral of the Fleet Sir Nowell Salmon, V.C., G.C.B. (20 February, 183514 February, 1912) was an officer of the Royal Navy, serving with exceptional distinction in the Indian Mutiny and after fifty-four years of service became one of the most senior officers.
