Commander R.N.R. (retired) Charles Jancey Davis, R.D., R.N.R. (14 January, 1888 – 18 March, 1962) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Davis served most of the war in the battleship Ajax, seeing action at the Battle of Jutland.[1]

Davis was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 10 June, 1915.[2]

Davis was granted the rank of Acting Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 30 June, 1919. He was to promoted to the rank on 10 June, 1920.[3]

Davis was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 4 December, 1928.[4]
