Rear-Admiral (retired) Charles Arbuthnot Christian, M.V.O. (31 August, 1862 – 24 August, 1937) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Christian was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1886.[1]
Christian was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1898.[2]
Christian was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1905.[3]
He was placed on the Retired List on 28 September, 1907.[4]
Christian was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 14 June, 1916.[5]
Appointed to work under the Chief Censor on 25 March 1918, Christian was reverted to the Retired List on 2 February 1919.[6]
