Lieutenant-Commander Ronald James Burch, D.S.O., R.N. (9 June, 1907 – 23 July, 1940) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Burch was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 February, 1930.[1]

Burch was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 February, 1938.

Burch was appointed in command of the submarine Narwhal on 26 February, 1940 and was killed when she was sunk on her fifteenth war patrol.[2]
