Lieutenant-Commander John Henry Pipe, (18 January, 1890 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Pipe entered as a supplementary person through H.M.S. Vivid and was promoted to the rank of Acting Gunner on 10 October, 1917 and to Mate on 11 December, 1917. His Service Record emphasises that he was exceedingly popular with his fellow servicemen.

Pipe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 11 December, 1919.

Pipe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 11 December, 1927.

In 1931, he was specially recommended by Rear-Admiral Hyde.
