Commander (retired) Ronald Philip Stanley de Sausmarez, (21 June, 1882 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Birkenhead.

In May 1902, he exhibited unofficer-like conduct during Divine Service, and was to be appointed to a seagoing ship upon termination of his course.

De Sausmarez was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1903.

Placed on the Retired List as unfit on 1 June, 1908. In August 1908 he was refused compensation for his injury, as all his injuries were due to a dislocation of his shoulder, which was not attributable to his service.

De Sausmarez was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1911.
