Lieutenant-Commander Arthur Edward Francis Lovell, (10 October, 1901 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Lovell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1923.
In 1930, Captain A. Cunningham noted that Lovell was "perhaps too kindly & lenient; v. tactful : pleasant".
Lovell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1931.
On 25 April, 1932 Lovell was appointed in command of the two "L" class boats in Group "D" Submarines in Reserve at Portsmouth.[1]
