Commander (retired) Richard Lionel Dearden (16 July, 1883 – c. 1955) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Dearden was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on the Supplementary List on 1 September, 1913.

Dearden was appointed in command of the destroyer Rival on 1 January, 1921.[1]

Dearden was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 September, 1921.

Dearden was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 9 January, 1923.

World War II

He died in February 1955 or 1958.
