Lieutenant Thomas Chalmers Meryon, R.N. (2 October, 1886 – 28 January, 1913) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Meryon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 November, 1906.

Meryon was appointed in command of the submarine A 10 on 1 January, 1910.[1]

Meryon was appointed in command of C 21 on 8 August, 1910. He drowned when he fell overboard from her into the Tay river on 28 January, 1913, after she had been one of three submarines engaged in an exercise off St. Andrew's Bay.
