Captain (retired) Conyers Lang, (25 August, 1852 – 5 September, 1917) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Gazzetted on 25 November 1873 for being wounded in the Ashanti War.
Lang was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 March, 1874.
Lang was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1890.
He was invalided from command of the Archer on the China Station with chronic liver disease in August, 1895.
Lang was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 28 January, 1899.
