Admiral SIR Cyril Eustace Douglas-Pennant, K.C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., D.S.C., R.N. (7 April, 1894 – 3 April, 1961) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Major Frank Douglas-Pennant, Fifth Baron Penrhyn, late 60th King's Royal Rifle Corps.
Promoted to Midshipman on 15 September, 1910.[1]
Douglas-Pennant was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1915.
Douglas-Pennant was appointed Lieutenant in Command of the patrol boat P37 on 26 April, 1918.[2]
Douglas-Pennant was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1923.
Douglas-Pennant was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1928.
Douglas-Pennant was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1935.
Douglas-Pennant was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 7 July, 1944.
