Captain (retired) Francis Edmund Musgrave Garforth, C.B.E. (10 February, 1874 – 11 August, 1953) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Garforth gained four months' time on passing out of Britannia in December, 1889.
Garforth was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1897.
Garforth was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1908.
Garforth was promoted to the rank of Acting Captain on 25 June, 1916.
Post-War
Garforth was appointed in command of the gunboat Cicala on 4 February, 1920.[1]
Garforth was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 6 June, 1922.
