Captain (retired) Edmund Clifton Carver, D.S.O., (20 September, 1873 – 30 November, 1942) served in the Royal Navy.

Carver was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 14 May, 1894.^[1]

Carver was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1905.^[2]

Carver was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1912.^[3]
