Wilfrid Ward Hunt ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Hunt was appointed in command of the second-class torpedo boat T.B. 42 on 1 August, 1906.[1]
Hunt was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 92 on 31 August, 1912.[2]
About a dozen torpedo boats, all but T.B. 92 under command of a Gunner or a Chief Gunner, made up the Gibraltar flotilla from late 1913 onward. Hunt's senior rank likely made him the commander of this formation throughout the war.[Inference]
