Eric Ritchie Bent ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bent was appointed to Excellent on 5 August, 1912 to qualify for gunnery duties.[1]
On 15 July, 1914, he was appointed to Ocean to act as gunnery officer.[2]
He also served as gunnery officer aboard Hercules at some point.[Citation needed]
Bent was appointed in command of the light cruiser Champion in October, 1928.[3]
