Lieutenant John Daly (29 May, 1859 – 30 April, 1913) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Daly was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 5 August, 1886.[1]

Daly was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 28 August, 1907.[2]

Daly was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1911.[3]

He was superseded in command of T.B. 108 on 21 March, 1912. On 6 May, 1912 he was admitted to the Royal Hospital, Haslar where he was found to be suffering from disease of the heart. After three months he was resurveyed and was judged unfit for further service on 5 August, 1912. He was placed on the Retired List the next day.[4]

Daly died on 30 April, 1913.
