Captain Thomas Parry Bonham, Royal Navy (31 March, 1873 – 31 May, 1916) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Entered Navy in January, 1886.
April, 1901 - June, 1904, Senior Staff Officer in Vernon.
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1909.[1]
He was appointed in command of the second class protected cruiser Naiad for service with the Minelayer Squadron of Second Fleet on 20 August, 1912.[2]
On 11 February, 1914, Bonham was appointed Inspecting Captain of Mine Sweeping Vessels.[3]
On 22 January, 1916, he was appointed as captain of the armoured cruiser Black Prince.[4] He was killed along with his entire crew when she was destroyed in night fighting at the Battle of Jutland.
