Frank Alan Rothera ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Lieutenant Rothera was in command of the destroyer Ariel in the Twentieth Destroyer Flotilla[1] when she was lost to a mine on 2 August, 1918.[2]

Rothera died along with 48 ship mates, and Ariel was lost.
