Basil Hew Fanshawe ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Life & Career
On 30 June 1910, Fanshawe was promoted to Captain
He assumed command of the first class protected cruiser Royal Arthur in October 1911.[1]
In January 1913, he assumed command of the light cruiser Bristol.[2]
He assumed command of the armoured cruiser Sutlej in February of 1916.[3]
