Rear-Admiral Ralph Lindsay Fisher, D.S.C., O.B.E., C.B. (18 June, 1903 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 October, 1925.[1]
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 October, 1933.[2]
World War II
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1939.[3]
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1945.[4]
Fisher was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 7 July, 1954. He retired on 15 January, 1957.[5]
