Captain (retired) Manfred Jerome Palmes, R.N. (5 February, 1887 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in York.

Palmes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1909.

Palmes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1917.

Post-War

Palmes was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1921.

Palmes was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Captain on 23 February, 1933.

World War II

Reverted 17 January, 1945.
