Captain Douglas Mortimer Lewis Neame, D.S.O.* (9 October, 1901 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Neame was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1923. He qualified as a Pilot on 9 January, 1928. He would compete, in that same year, in the Olympic Games as a track and field athlete.[1]
Neame was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 June, 1931.[2]
Neame was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1936.[3]
World War II
Neame was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1940.[4]
